Tropical Mimosa

Tropical Mimosa

8 servings

What better way to celebrate International Rum Day (which was discovered in the Caribbean, by the way) than with this recipe for a Tropical Mimosa. Rum is one of the most versatile alcoholic beverages out there and is not only used for making drinks but is also used in cooking and desserts.

This Tropical Mimosa is refreshing and perfect for brunch or a day at the beach.

Important note : Once you prepare this recipe, it is necessary to let it cool in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, just like the Dibon Cava, since this drink is not served with ice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (8 oz) orange juice
  • 1 cup (8 oz) pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup (2 oz) lemon juice
  • ½ cup (4 oz) white rum
  • ¼ cup (2 oz) coconut rum
  • 1 cup (8 oz) coconut water
  • Dibon Cava Brut Reserve when serving
  • Lemon or orange slices for decoration

    Preparation

Mix all the ingredients in a jug and shake.

    1. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
    2. Serve and add 2 ounces (¼ cup) of Dibon Cava
    3. Decorate with lemon or orange slices.

      Health!
